The Area: Pine Hill is a sleepy town that perks up in the winter for skiing and in the summer for hiking and its great music festivals. It is far less crowded that the Beach regions of the Tri-State Area. It is far less expensive too! Remember you are in the beautiful Catskill Mountains with a rich, rich history. Our lodge is the perfect place for enjoying your family and the friends you are with. It is not fast paced, so if you are looking for five star hotels or lots of night life you may be disappointed. However there are great restaurants and lively bars with a down-home feel.
The town of Woodstock and other great places are within a short drive. In the summer there is even a tourist train in Arkville, just a few miles away. There is also the beach in summer and skiing in winter!
At The Lodge: Our recreation hall has ping pong, pool and foosball among other things. We have a collection of games and DVD you can borrow. The fire pit is wonderful and perfect in the winter months.
You can cook like a champ here as we have outdoor grills and everything you need to serve a wonderful dinner. We have a full set of dishes, pots and serving dishware in your kitchen. If you don’t see something you need just ask Dan or Alicia our innkeepers. Remember we have marshmallows!
More :On a clear night the skies are full of stars; you can wander over to town for a drink and then relax. We have a full list of places to visit, feel free to ask!
For group rentals, we have a dining hall and full kitchen to feed 45 people. Evening bonfires any time of year. Please feel free to contact me if I can help you with anything in preparing for your stay.
